Derek, Day 1

Very early start, not enough sleep, but I am alive, awake, and here. Checked into the hotel, and took the metro to tour the Captiol building, and Brett Guthrie's office. On the Metro, we met some unique individuals, who preceeded to yell, and carry on, making a scene on the Train, and attempting to make it on film. After the Capitol building, we did some walking outside, ans aw the library of congress from a distance, and the outside of the Supreme Court. We also visited Union Station and went for a short shopping trip, where we met a cashier that spoke Russian, so Russel could communicate with him. To finish off the night, we had dinner at the pizza place accross from the hotel.
