Day one highlights included a tour of the U.S. Capitol, good food for lunch and dinner, and being able to see my former co-workers in Congressman Guthrie's office. Touring the Capitol brought back many fond memories from my internship in Congressman Guthrie's office, which took place this time last year.
The food we had today was great. First was Ollie's Trolley, where I had a burger and fries, and it was amazing. For dinner we ate at an Italian place close to our hotel, and the pizza was excellent. I'm looking forward to my first C-PAC experience starting tomorrow. I think Liz Cheney is who I am most excited about seeing speak, every time I have seen her on TV she has been incredibly articulate in defense of the War on Terror and enhanced interrogation techniques.
