How to Look Like a Tourist

I have always dreamed of being able to visit Washington D.C. and finally that dream has been reached! I have to admit that it is truly amazing here. Walking through the Capital Building and truly getting a sense for the history of our dearly loved nation. I am very thankful I am not the only first time visitor to D.C. on this trip because I want to see everything from the Washington Monument to the gift shop that goes along with it. Thankfully Andrew is just like me since he has never been here before and I am thankful I am not the only one looking like that.

I titled this post "How to Look Like a Tourist" and here are a few ways I have learned from being in DC for just 1 day.

1. Stand outside in 10 degree weather to try to take pictures outside the Capital Building
2. Take pictures of every little thing you come by because you never know Abraham Lincoln himself may have stood there.
3. When riding the metro avoiding eye contact at all cost with anyone who may look suspicious in any way.
4. Making sure that your camera is always reachable and ready to take pictures because you never know what you might see.
5. Laughing at a guy named Tyresse Bradley because he is clearly on some drug while everyone else on the Metro tells him he annoying and to be quiet.

Well it is really late here in D.C. and we have an early morning ahead of us here so it is for sure bedtime. I will leave you with a video from our future President of the United States. Shane Noem.....
