Merina: Washingtion D.C. 2011 Day One

My first day in Washington was AMAZING! I had never flown before and my experience with that was good except my head felt like it was going to explode when we were about to land because of the pressure and oxygen which my body had never experienced, but I did meet two very nice people on the plane, and I'd do it again in a heart beat! This trip in its entirety is a complete first for me not only have I never flown before, I have never been to Washington D.C. Today I got to see things that I've never seen before in my life! I got to see the Smithsonian museum! It was amazing! I'm a museum fan so that was the highlight of my day. I also saw the capital but I didn't get to go inside of it. I rode a Metro system for the first time in my life it was very confusing but I tried to make it through the best way possible. It would take me a while I think to get used to that sort of system if I had to move here. I was lost the entire time I just made sure I stayed with my group to insure I didn't get misplaced in the crowd. All in all it was a good first day my only wish is that I could have stayed in the Space and Aeronautics part of the Smithsonian museum longer and that my phone didn't die so I could have taken pictures while I was there and more pictures of this amazing experience! Well all I hope today is as awesome as yesterday. We'll see! :)
