This is my first time visiting Washington and so far I love it. Poorvie and I got to the airport early in the morning and met up with everyone else. And after an easy plane ride and a funny bus drive, we bought our metro passes and tried to keep up with Barrett as he sprinted from each stop being the leader of the group. A large group of us had lunch at a small place that was featured on Man vs. Food for chilli. I got to go to the Smithsonian for the first time and see the Air and Space Museum as well as the American History Museum. We then roughed our way through the Metro again before going to dinner.
So far, it has been a great trip. There isn't much to report yet but DC is living up to all my expectations and then some. Hopefully my posts will become more entertaining for you all throughout the week!
