Washington, D.C. is a city that I have visited numerous times. As a result, I have been to most of the noteworthy sites. However, each new visit brings more respect and knowledge than the last; there is always more to learn and acknowledge. I always try to visit the National Archives. The Declaration of Independence, Constitution, and Bill of Rights are the reasons why soldiers defend this nation: to preserve our way of life and the freedoms guaranteed by the aforementioned documents. I always stand in awe looking at our cherished documents that were so eloquently penned by our Founding Fathers.
