First day in the nation’s capital

I attended CPAC last year, and greatly enjoyed it. I have returned for another enjoyable experience. Today I revisited the White House, Capital Hill, and the Washington Monument. I also visited The American History Museum, and the National Archives. Visiting the National Archives was by far one of my favorite visits. I was able to view the original copies of the Declaration of Independence, The U.S. Constitution, and the Bill of Rights. Viewing these documents must trump everything else because without them, there would be not Capital to visit and no monuments to view. These documents are paramount to the idea of conservatism in this country. It is important to conserve the ideas and values of which those imperative documents were drafted upon. Every individual who visits D.C. should see the White House, Capital Hill, and the monuments, but above all they should make available, time to view and appreciate the documents that established this great nation.
